MEIJE — Après-Ski Spirit

Customer: Meije Distillery/ Task: Label Design and Illustration

Context

MEIJE is a French eau-de-vie made for the après-ski moment — a quick shot for people who live outdoors: mountains, skiing, friends, and the party that starts after the last run.

Goal: design one strong hero label and create two brand marks:
— the MEIJE logotype (primary brand identifier)
— a Saint Bernard with a small barrel — an Alpine rescuer symbol for promo and social media.

Approach

The design was built for instant recognition and a clear Alpine mood:

  • an engraved mountain landscape and cool blue accents to evoke snow and altitude

  • a bold central Saint Bernard emblem as the brand’s signature character

  • strong typography hierarchy: MEIJE first, then Après-Ski Spirit

  • a label silhouette that echoes a mountain ridge, adding personality and shelf impact

Result

A compact, character-driven label with a clear après-ski identity — sporty, Alpine, and memorable — supported by a standalone emblem ready for marketing materials and social content.
