Task
To make label design for a new craft beer line.
This time my client provided the sketch.
Even though this sketch is very row it gives the designer a lot of information and greatly simplifies his work. And I appreciate it. So, let’s start.
Solution
The challenge was to keep the client’s idea. I also had to think about all the details. My inspiration was gothic architecture, because the trademark of this beer is The Barrel Cathedral. I wanted the label to look modern, but at the same time I needed references to the Middle Ages. And it was not easy. For a more modern feeling I decided to use deep and saturated colors.
