Altru
— a label about what the wine goes through

Land of Basarabia · Moldova

Scope: premium label, illustration.

The challenge

A limited-edition skin-contact white for Land of Basarabia. Not a normal white — extended contact with the skins gives it more texture, more structure, more to think about. A quiet wine with a lot going on under the surface.

So the brief wasn't “draw a wine label.” It was: don't draw the grape. Draw what happens to it.

The face

One image does the whole job: a fracture. A deep crack runs across the label — pressure, change, all the invisible work that shapes the wine long before the bottle.

Behind it, a grape cluster, half-hidden, reduced to a crystalline geometric form. Not fruit described, but fruit under pressure — part of the wine's inner structure rather than a picture of its outside. The lettering stays restrained and architectural, so the composition can breathe and the crack keeps the eye.

Quiet, not loud. No vineyard clichés, no decoration. One bottle, one idea, built around transformation instead of spectacle.

The result

Produced in 2023 — a single premium release from Land of Basarabia.

One bottle, one image, and no series behind it. The brief never asked for a system, and the label does not pretend there is one.
