Every brand starts with one label.

I design illustration-led packaging for craft beverage, food and specialty goods. Start with a single label. Grow it into a system. Build a whole world when you're ready. Same hand the whole way up.

Prices are here, in the open. No quotes to chase.

Every brand is a story. Start with your chapter.

Packaging.

Meije Eau de Vie — a single label, done right

Chapter 01 · One label

Find the face.

900–1,200

One product going out without a face of its own. A range can wait.

  • A custom hero illustration, drawn for this product.
  • Front and back label design.
  • Print-ready files, checked against your printer's specs.
  • Two revision rounds.
  • €900 for one clear subject; €1,200 for a full scene with several elements.

Best for: a standalone product, or a launch that doesn't need a range yet.

Chapter 02 · Label system

Build the system.

From1,500

The range is growing, and every new product looks like a different brand. Each launch starts from a blank page.

  • €1,500 — System launch. Rules, layout, a swap slot, and your first hero label.
  • €600 — A new hero. A new drawing. What counts as one?

Built once. The seventh label starts from decisions already made — not from a blank page.

Rhône Brew — the brand world extended into coasters, caps and glassware

Chapter 03 · Brand world

Grow the world.

From5,500

Packaging, merch and communications each speak their own language. The brand ends at the label.

  • Logo and illustration language.
  • Packaging system across formats.
  • Typography, colour, and usage rules.
  • Everything drawn to work together, by the same hand.

Includes the label system and your first two heroes. Borealis Coffee and I have been running one of these since 2017.

Illustration.

Not only packaging — sometimes a brand needs one strong visual, or a whole cast of characters. For artwork outside packaging: merch, posters, taproom visuals, campaigns.

Traktor — a cast of sticker characters, one lockup, in the wild on phones, cars and walls

Illustration system

A cast for one brand.

One world, one frame, a new hero every time.

  • €1,200 — World framework. Shared frame, logo lockup, layout rules, and your first character.
  • €400 — Each character after that. A new hero, dropped into the world.
  • Same system as my packaging — build the world once, add heroes as you grow.
  • Here it's stickers, promo and merch instead of labels.

A framework and three characters: €2,000.

An illustrated Andorra postcard — beehives, a mountain valley and grazing horses

Standalone illustration

One dense visual.

From450

One image has to carry the whole job. For a drop, a tee, an event, or a campaign key visual.

  • €450 — one central subject or character, simple ground.
  • €650 — a full original scene, several elements.
  • €900–1,200 — multi-element, poster-grade compositions.
  • Print-ready files, sized for your use. It stands on its own — no series to commit to.

Tell me what it's for and I'll price it before you commit.

Not every story needs a whole book.

Two quiet side doors — for a brand that already has a face, or a project already running.

For a brand that already has a face

Merch artwork.

280–450

One artwork, one surface — a tee, a cap, a growler, a poster for the taproom. Drawn onto the identity you already have, so there is no system to build first. €280 for a single subject, €450 for a full composition.

How it goes.

Every project starts with one question: what stays and what changes. Four steps, whether it's one label or a whole brand.

Step 01

The next one.

What it is, how it prints, who picks it off the shelf. Then the question most briefs skip — what comes after it. One bottle or the first of nine changes what I draw.

Step 02

What stays.

We decide what belongs to the brand and what belongs to the product. Layout, hierarchy and the logic of the drawing stay. Character, colour and story move. Agreed before anything is drawn.

Step 03

The face.

I sketch first — never one option. Two directions at least, often more. You pick. The one you don't pick is why the drawing can still move later.

Step 04

The test.

The system gets tried on a product that doesn't exist yet. If it holds, it holds. Then print-ready artwork, checked against your printer's specs.

Before you ask.

What counts as a new hero?

A new drawing. If the character changes — a new pose, a new object in its hands, a new animal — that's a new hero, €600. A new flavour is a different job: the drawing doesn't move at all. The template already exists, so what changes is the header and subheader colour, a couple of graphic elements, and the data on the back label. Nothing else. That's €150.

Is the back label included?

On a single label, yes — front and back are designed together. In a system, the back is built once as part of the launch and then carries over to every release. If you come back later for a back label on a design that shipped without one, that's €80.

What if the system has no accent slot?

It always does. Building the swap slot on day one is a large part of what the system launch buys — it's why the twelfth flavour still costs €150.

How long does it take?

A single label runs about 1–2 weeks. A system takes 2–3 weeks. A brand world runs 5–6 weeks depending on the number of SKUs. I'll give you a real date once I've seen the brief.

What about revisions?

Two rounds are included on a single label. Systems and brand worlds have review built into each stage, so you're never surprised at the end. Extra rounds are billed simply, by the hour.

How do payments work?

50% to start, 50% on delivery of final files. For brand worlds we can split it across milestones. Prices are in euros. I work remotely with clients worldwide.

Who owns the artwork?

On final payment you get an exclusive, worldwide, unlimited licence: the illustrations are yours to use on packaging, merch, print and marketing, and I won't sell or reuse them for anyone else. The copyright stays with me — standard for illustration work — which means I can show the piece in my portfolio, and you don't pay for rights you'll never use. Launching soon? Tell me the date and I'll hold the work back until the product is on the shelf. In a brand world the logo is transferred to you outright, so you can register it as a trademark. Need full copyright assignment, or the work kept private for good? Both are possible — say so at the brief and I'll price it.

Do you work with studios?

Yes. I collaborate with small branding studios and creative directors as an external illustration and packaging specialist.

Not sure where
your story starts?

Tell me about the product and where you want to take it — I'll point you to the right place to start.
